Investor Relations

The privately owned Smart Stay Group, which is based in Munich, represents a young,
dynamic, and stylish hotel and hostel concept in the budget segment. While the hostels
are furnished and decorated to a comparably high standard and appeal to price-conscious
young travelers and groups, the hotels also offer business people and more discerning
guests additional comfort and a fully developed business infrastructure in a pleasantly private setting.

The central location of the properties in selected business and tourism centers with
direct access to public transport, the functional, appealing furnishings and décor and the
attractive prices impress all the way across the board.

Smart Stay currently consists of three properties in Munich and one hotel in Berlin – Charlottenburg. And in 2015 we opened the Smart Stay Hotel Frankfurt Airport near the Airport Frankfurt am Main. Smart Stay Group employs around 89 members of staff.  Smart Stay Group plans to open two more houses in key travel destinations in Germany and Austria  by 2017/18.

In order to be able to turn the Smart Stay visions into a reality, we are therefore looking for premises for further hotels and hostels.

Locations that have attracted our interest:

  • Germany: Munich, Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Düsseldorf,
  • Austria: Salzburg, Vienna
  • Europe: Prag, Bukarest

Properties that fulfill our requirements:

  • Total usable floor space: at least 3,000 m²
  • Minimum No. of required rooms: 75
  • Minimum No. of required beds: 300 in 2 and 4-bed rooms
  • Public areas: approx. 500 m²
  • Allocation of a typical floor:
    - 2-bed room: approx. 16 m²
    - 4-bed room: approx. 22 m²

Conditions that we can offer:

  • Very good credit rating
  • Long-term lease (15 to 20 years)
  • Flat hierarchies, short decision-making processes (location verification, economic analysis, contract implementation)
  • Joint planning and realization controlling
  • Proven interface management
  • Furnishings can be financed by us
